Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.
Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred.

Department Description:
The person will be part of the EMEA Planning Team. The role will be part of a 3-person team, managing customer facing backorders, from sourcing of the required part to managing its transit to the target destination.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Regularly run the Open Back Order Report - to identify new backorders lines that need to be sourced.
2) Compile the report into a new master report, with information from previous report.
3) Source the required part based on approved sourcing guidelines.
4) Create an order to move the required part from the source warehouse to the target warehouse.
5) Review to ensure any order that has been created has been shipped (not canceled or zero picked by the source warehouse)
6) Calculate the ETA at target warehouse for part that was sourced.
7) Insert sourcing details into Task Notes (ETA, Order#, Source from warehouse, target warehouse, etc)
8) If there is a delay in shipping or transit of the order, re-calculate the ETA, and update the task notes accordingly.
9) Reply to any email inquiries from Field Services – pertaining to ETA, AWB#, offering of alternatives
Experience/ Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree required from relevant field in Supply Chain Planning or Professional Certification in Operations Management and Inventory Control
- Understanding of field service operations in a high technology service industry
- Previous experience of Oracle's Value Chain Planning tools (Demantra, Spares Parts Planning and
Inventory Optimization) is desirable.
- International experience beneficial
- Self motivator, able to identify and develop opportunities through to completion
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate at various levels across Oracle and externally with suppliers
- Good communication skills
- Well organized and analytical with an inquisitive nature
- Good spreadsheet skills are required
- Fluent English is essential
