Job description

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications :

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Database, core applications and web technology knowledge is essential. Has specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations.

Job Requirements

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. About 10 years overall experience in Data Warehouse and Analytics principles, lead delivery projects in this domain. Understand customer requirements and challenges and support consulting sales team in positioning analytical solutions to customers.

Key Requirements

·  Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
·  Sound skills and a minimum of 10 years experience in solutioning, sales, delivery capability and people leadership.
·  Detailed understanding of Business Intelligence and Business Performance Management, including: Dashboards & Scorecards, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting and Business Analytics & Reporting.
·  Proven experience in working in a consulting team environment and the ability to work autonomously within established methodologies and standards.
·  Proven written and oral communication skills and demonstrated effective customer liaison including effective leadership, co-ordination and influencing skills.
·  Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
·  Extensive working experience with Oracle Business Intelligence suite of products, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (OEDQ) and Oracle Bigdata solutions
·  Hands on experience in implementing integration solution on hadoop systems with DWH/BI and using tools like Hive, Impala, Spark, Pig, sentry, sqoop, flume etc.
·  Hands on experience in implementing data integration solution preferably using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
·  Knowledge and experience in Analytics related language like R or Python (with Panda)
·  Experience in delivering analytical solution in communication or financial services industries will be an advantage
·  Experience in Oracle Financial/Communications Data Model will be an added advantage
·  Travel may be required up to 50%
