Job description

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.

A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. 0-2 years of sales , marketing, or business development experience preferred. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment. Business and account planning implementation experience. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent.

As part of Bronto's Business Development team, the Alliances Business Development Manager will play a key role in helping expand Bronto's top line revenue and client list for 2018 and beyond through the management of key alliance partners.

Responsibilities




The Alliances Business Development Manager will build and manage a tactical plan with a specific portfolio of NetSuite and Oracle representatives and/or product verticals. This is a great opportunity for people who know how to create relationships with individuals and organizations to drive business together. Reporting to the Managers of Strategic Alliances, the Alliances Business Development Manager will:

·  Maintain and develop our partner relationships with NetSuite and Oracle
·  Be involved in the sales process with a corresponding Bronto Account Executives or Regional Sales Managers assigned to specific opportunities involving partners
·  Execute against an annual quota of closed contract sales
·  Help facilitate interaction between Bronto and NetSuite and Oracles sales and account management representatives, managers, and executives
·  Participate as a member of the Bronto Business Development team which includes other regional Channel Managers.

Qualifications

·  Experience carrying and exceeding quota
·  Experience with software as a service (SaaS) or other software applications
·  Previous formal business development and sales training
·  Experience implementing and facilitating joint training and marketing tactics including event sponsorships, and thought leadership/content development
·  Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills - strong phone and in-person presentation skills are required
·  Proficiency with the Internet, MS Office, NetSuite or related CRM applications
·  Knowledge of the eCommerce Ecosystem and Strategies
·  Technical acumen with web-based software as a service (SaaS)
·  Ability to travel up to 30%
·  BS/BA degree
