Job description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Student Cloud has various modules like Recruiting, Admissions, Enrollment, Records, Student Finance, Financial Aid etc. that help institutions streamline routine processes for students, deliver real time information for better decision-making, drive operational efficiency and help students in showcasing their education and abilities to prospective recruiters.

The position is located at Oracle,US. We are looking for a technical architect who is very hands-on with a passion for developing our Student Cloud solution.. We are looking for an technical architect who is very hands-on with a passion for developing our Student Cloud solution.

Responsibilities include:

·  Working closely with a world class development team
·  Architecting and developing the next generation Student Information Solution on-time with high quality
·  Interacting closely with the Product Owners to understand use cases/requirement, and hands-on bootstrapping, prototyping and guiding developers in day-to-day design and coding tasks
·  Design and implementation of projects
·  Working closely with Leadership team, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Quality Assurance, and other dependent development teams (ERP, HCM, CX)

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

·  Excellent analysis, problem solving and prioritization skill
·  Must be a self-starter, able to deliver projects on time with high quality
·  Aggressive, can work under pressure, multi-task and able to find solutions, provide recommendations on solution approach
·  Excellent product development skills – designing, coding, and debugging skills in Java, J2EE
·  Experience of database design/modelling, knowledge of RDBMS concepts is required
·  Experience of 12-15 yrs. in product development is required
·  Experience in developing Cloud based Fusion applications is required
·  Experience in designing ERP applications, exploring new technologies, bootstrapping is needed
·  You work independently and solve problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done.
·  You have the ability to build relationships and influence outside of authority while leveraging Oracle expertise and resources.
·  Effective communication skills (written and spoken) and strong problem solving skill
·  Experience with Fusion Techstack (JDeveloper, ADF, Cloud, REST Services) strongly preferred
·  Experience with technologies like Java Web Applications and Modern Javascript frameworks/libraries, REST services, Java, PL/SQL, Oracle Database a must
·  Effective in working with remote teams spread across time zones (USA, India, Manila, Singapore)
·  BS or MS in computer science or equivalent

Desirable qualifications for this position are (one or more)

·  Knowledge of Oracle ADF, Oracle JET , Oracle Application Composer, Oracle Sales
·  Cloud Vertical development tools a plus
·  Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications Seeded Customization Framework, OATs. PSR Tools, Accessibility Testing Tools preferre
·  Experiences in scripting languages
