The Oracle Secure Global Desktop (OSGD) engineering group is part of the Oracle Sun Ray and Virtual Desktop Integration group. The OSGD teams, based in Leeds are responsible for the full product life cycle activities associated with releasing and maintaining the product. We are looking for talented graduates to join our team as a software engineer to work in the OSGD engineering team who will assist in the onward development of the product.

If you have knowledge/ experience in systems software engineering and be capable of taking on responsibility for key areas of functionality within the product and will be involved in the full product life cycle from requirements specification through to implementation, then this is the job for YOU!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Feature development involving full engineering life cycle
• Requirements gathering and specification
• Design & Implementation
• Unit and Functional testing
• Test specification
• Make a significant contribution to development of OSGD

Desired profile

• Computer Science degree
• Microsoft Windows Development and Unix/Linux (C, C++)
• Low level, Unix or Windows C/C++ programming
• Web and communication technologies
• Java and web services
• Security and communications technologies
• Have strong design and writing skills
• Be an effective communicator, capable of dealing with people at all levels
• Be capable of working to tight deadlines
