Sales Consultant

Job description

Ongosa seeks a sales consultant who has a passion for snowsports and wants to gain experience working in an adventure sport business in the travel industry.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated new team member, to contribute towards our growth.

This is a seasonal contract with the opportunity to go permanent. Above this, there is scope for the successful candidate to progress quickly, with the possibility of managing relationships with suppliers and becoming a team leader.

The successful candidate will be working under the management of Snowsports, Dylan, alongside the central marketing and development teams as we continue our digital evolution.

You will be responsible for:

- Meeting targets on sales of snowsports lessons, guiding and additional activities
- Maintaining our excellent reputation for customer service and post-sales support
- Liaising with our key suppliers, often in their native language, whilst strengthening our relationships with them
- Showing commercial awareness in terms of how we can continue to grow in the industry
- Demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of the industry when advising clients

Desired profile

About you
We’d like you to:

- Be able to demonstrate excellent sales or customer service skills with a persuasive and competitive nature
- Preferably be able to speak a secondary language (French, German or Italian)
- Ideally have worked in a ski resort for a winter season or have an intimate knowledge of the ski and snowboard scene
- Be articulate with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Have a genuine passion for adventure sports
