Family Assessment & Support : Support and Social Workers

Job description

OneOneCoCo is recruiting Family Assessment and Support Workers to work on a shift rota at our East London based family assessment and support service.

Shifts include:

Nights - Waking and Sleep in across the week

Daytime shifts

Weekend shifts.

We are looking for committed and motivated individuals that work well in a team and are able to use own initiative.

Attention to detail, excellent people skills, observation skills and a good standard of written English are required.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- the contribution to and delivery of family assessments,
- ensuring the protection and wellbeing of children at all times
- maintaining a high level of monitoring and supervision.

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team supporting and assisting families and young people in establishing independence and developing appropriate routines during their assessment period. You will be responsible for supporting the achievement of positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Our ideal candidates will have:
- Social care qualification
- Experience in working with children and young people
- Excellent communication,observation and analytical skills
- Excellent skills in record keeping

In return, we are offering ongoing personal and professional development and remuneration commencing at £9.61 per hour.

Applicants with work experience of domestic violence, child development, mental health learning disability and young people services would be at an advantage.
Contracts agreed on a sessional/bank basis.
