Christmas Intern - Operations (Paid)

Job description

In preparation for a busy Christmas, we’re looking for caring, confident people to join our Resolution Team for a short but crucial stint as a paid Christmas Intern.

Gaining exposure and experience in an innovative hospitality business, you’ll be working with Guests and Homeowners to resolve their issues by working with our in-house maintenance technicians and third party companies. Receiving problems to solve from the front line Service Team, you will determine appropriate actions to ensure timely and accurate resolution, taking full ownership of complex situations to ensure our Guests and Homeowners have exceptional experiences.

You’ll need to be unwavering in your commitment to service excellence, with the operational nous to make sure things run like clockwork. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea (and we promise you won’t be tasked with making pots-full), but if you would thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, then we want to hear from you.

We’re a 24/7 business and you’ll be working 5 shifts per week either on earlies which start at 8:00 or lates that finish at 20:00, including regular weekends.
The internship will involve working on a minimum of one bank holiday over the Christmas period, so you’ll need to be ready to make that commitment.
You‘ll be based at onefinestay in Notting Hill, London (closest station Ladbroke Grove). You’ll also need to be available to come in for a couple of interviews.
The internship runs from Monday 12th December to Sunday 8th January.. If your term finishes after the 12th, it’s possible to jump into our second cohort starting on Saturday 17th December, but you’d need to be available on the 17th and 18th December for training days.

Desired profile

You’re a natural problem-solver who is pragmatic and compassionate - when a complex issue arises, you persevere, remain composed and professional - and deliver a high-touch service.
You’re confident on the phone with awesome communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with people.
Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
You have a ‘roll your sleeves up’ attitude and a willingness to muck-in with the team.
You’re pragmatic and can understand the impact your actions will have on the rest of the business - if the idea of a broken boiler terrifies you - this isn’t the role for you.
You’re currently studying at or recently graduated from university, or have equivalent interesting experience.
