Software Developer (Testing / QA) - Internship

We are a fast growing start-up based in Holborn.

We are looking for a smart, confident and hard-working individual to join our organisation during this exciting period of growth. With this role, the selected candidate will be the first line support to engineers and will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service to all customers. We require someone join full time.

Tasks
- Support the product team by doing daily QA on our platform
- Ensure that quality standards are adhered to during the development of products
- Create and Update tests
- Assist in the implementation of the overall testing strategy
- Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional testing
- Run functional and non-functional tests
- Create scenarios for performance testing
- Work with developers and subject domain experts during the development phase to define tests
- Provide estimates for test activities
- Manage onshore/off-shore test engineers

Desired profile

- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in, at least, one programming language C++, Java, JavaScript or Python.
- Experience in Selenium web driver, Selenium Grid and Cucumber a plus
- Experience in developing automation frameworks a plus
- Experience in BDD, TDD, Data driven and Hybrid automation frameworks a plus
- Experience in testing applications on Cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) a plus
- Experience working in distributed SOA environments including REST services a plus
- Experience in querying complex schemas and relational databases a plus
