Job description
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are looking for someone interested in getting involved into the fashion industry we are currently working with various clients who are heading towards London Fashion week and for private and popular shows.
Your role would liaise with the Director and studio Manager making quotes for design projects and making sure all targets are met concerning schedules for fittings ,models and components delivered for factories and sampling. Please see below our typical client procedure.
CLIENT PROCEDURE
• Once CV ,Confidentiality form, Toile options, Production documentation ,Service contract etc and any other relevant files has been sent make sure all documents and contracts are signed and filled out then send them back to the client alongside the Quote …..Quote examples found in NEW PR ADMIN INTERN FOLDER found in Dropbox. Please note some clients will require coming into the studio or have a telephone or Skype conversation to get more details. Make a folder in Dropbox folder add a word document stating what relevant files have been sent to the client if it is from PPH Screenshot bid and save important information in folder e.g some emails .specification sheets ,photos etc
• Once client has paid or we can confirm payment then we start work. Put on hard copy wipe board transfer ,contracts etc
• Check in the studio if we have the required fabric and trimmings if not buy all what we need.
• Confirm with production staff (Pattern cutters and Machinist’s and Admin etc) who might be available to work on the contract so we know we have the human resources to do the work. If not bring in freelancers or hire people
• Then put codes etc into the Production Schedule and written on the hard copy wipe board a small summary will suffice e.g Giorgio make 5 toiles ready for 8th June 6pm.
• Email the client a starting time e.g June 1st 1pm and will finish June 8th at 6pm…………… we usually say 1 to 2 week turnaround depending on how busy we are times may vary.
• Make sure daily updates are put into the production schedule e.g paper pattern 100% done toile 50% done. These are sometimes emailed to clients so they can see progress.
• Each person working for clients whether emailing or sewing must fill out CRS (Client reference sheet like a timesheet) in detail for all clients so we can judge how much time we are taking to do the work.
