Position: Experienced Tape Edge Machine Operator
Location: East Midlands
Hours: 40 hrs pw Mon-Thurs: 7:45-17:00 Fri: 8:00-13:00
Employment: Permanent

We are delighted to present an excellent opportunity to join our established mattress manufacturing business.

We have a requirement for an experienced automated Tape Edge Machine Operator to join our team with an immediate start.

This is a key role in our company where candidates must have prior tape edge machine experience and performance is benchmarked against equally skilled operators.

Main duties will include:

- Skilled, efficient and quality focused tape edge operation.

- Meeting tape edge production targets and daily deadlines mattress output

- Timely escalation of any issues that could impact tight deadlines.

- Supporting and learning from engineering team to minimise time to fix in the event of machine outage.

The successful candidate will:

- Be physically fit and able to handle single bed mattresses

- Persistent and resilient with a strong work ethic and an ability to deliver against deadlines.

- Be a pro active individual with a willing 'can-do' attitude.

- Show flexibility to occasionally support other roles in between production cycles.

- Be able to comply with all Quality Control and Health & Safety Processes

Salary will depend on experience and overtime shifts.
