Novartis is currently recruiting for UP4Growth Training & Translation Manager to join the HR Services team to support internal customers across Europe.

Job purpose:

The purpose of this role is to instructional design, translate and interface localization expertise combined with knowledge and experience in Project Management and a systems understanding of the UP4Growth solution (Cornerstone On Demand). The UP4Growth solution enables the integrated processes supporting Learning, Performance Management, Talent Management, Competency Architecture, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, and Analytics. Primarily responsible for the planning, maintenance and provision of the training deliverables, including localization of the training deliverables, system interfaces, and system content and solution adoption related deliverables for UP4Growth (Cornerstone On Demand) to work in an operational state. Secondarily, may contribute to the solution adoption deliverables (training, change and communication materials) supporting a wide range of topics and projects, such as, the Consolidation of HR Services transition project (CHRS), global aspects of the New Employee Onboarding (NEO) Program and NEO for HR Services, ServiceNow and future system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan and gain approval for training, translation and localization plans in alignment with system releases
• Manage development and/or adaption of training programs to meet audience requirements, ensuring training is appropriately targeted and linked to measureable business objectives
• Create and maintain training catalogue, ReadMores, Custom Translation Specifications, Guides and Video) in collaboration with subject matter experts, process owners, the support service delivery organization, business stakeholders, IT teams and project teams in both a project and operational state
• Manage internal and external resources, as may be assigned
• Ensure training programs are fit for purpose, adapted as may be required and delivered to target audience groups
• Provide recommendations for improvements, gain buy-in from applicable stakeholders and execute against the plan
• Build measures of success for training programs and include within operational re-views with the Service Delivery Review Board
• Secondarily, support other training and change initiatives for HR Services as as-signed
• Keep up to date with change & training research and be aware of trends on the market

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor/s degree or equivalent experience - Qualification in instructional design or equivalent experience
• Ideally 3 to 5 years’ combined instructional design and project management experience working in a Customer Service Delivery environment within a global environment
• Knowledge and experience of designing and delivering a variety of training programs
• Knowledge and experience managing translation and localization projects
• Proven experience in partnering with external vendors
• Proven experience in people management in a matrix organization
• Proven experience in change management
• Experience with Agile software development or supporting training of cloud solutions
• Familiarity with service management / delivery technology/ tools (i.e. SAP HR, ServiceNow, Ticketing, Telephony, Chat platforms) preferred but not essential
• Experience of working within virtual / remote teams preferred
• Fluent spoken and written English, other languages are an advantage
