Job Purpose:
The Order to Cash (O2C) Collection Specialist enables and supports the execution of quality O2C services for the Novartis Group entities, securing company assets by applying proper actions to manage and collect receivables. This role also ensures that systems, documentation, compliance and reporting are in place and actively contributes continuous improvement projects to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes within the NGSC and to the Novartis divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and KPI/Cash Flow targets
• Correspond timely to internal and external inquiries (e.g. O2C associates, country customer service, customers)
• Make balance reconciliations, help identify priorities and facilitate payment clearing against invoices Analyze blocked sales orders and put in place actions in order to properly manage credit risk
• Cash flow and bad debt provision targets as defined by Divisions
• Number of blocked orders per month
• No unsatisfactory audit rating and timely execution of action plans
• Number of business special processes standardized/deliver business benefits and productivity improvements as per target
• Stable services incl. those of outsourced operations, no control issues
• Successful roll out of standard CORE systems and processes

Minimum requirements
b>The ideal candidate will have:
• University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance
• Lean/ Six Sigma Certified preferred Very fluent English (written and spoken)
• 1-2 years of financial experience, with good functional expertize
• 2-4 years of collection experience
• Preferred 1+ years of experience in similar position in a Shared Service Center environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization
• SAP knowledge / SAP RM desirable
• Experience in managing projects driving performance improvements
