This is an opportunity for a post-graduate Chemist to join a Global Pharmaceutical company in a challenging role within a modern manufacturing environment. Part of a structured training programme, you will develop professional and interpersonal skills in a diverse, market leading organization.
This programme will last for two and a half years, with the first 18 months being spent at one of our manufacturing units in Basel. Your final year will be spent at another Novartis location abroad.
You will be trained in the role of a Process Manager, with responsibility for the manufacture of intermediates and drug substances, along with the continuous improvement of processes including quality, yield and throughput time within high standards of safety and ecology.

Desired profile

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, preferably in organic Chemistry, and willing to relocate
• fluent German and English skills, additional languages are advantageous
