Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner ESO is responsible for all supply chain activities related to third party FDF and Bulk suppliers which ensure an optimized and integrated sourcing that meets customer requirements, minimizes total supply chain cost, maximizes supply chain effectiveness including conforming to established quality standards, and establishes an inventory flow that is responsive to the needs of the business.

- Planning 
Check plausibility of forecasts (APO, BI Report,..) 
Compare forecast with capacities 
Clarify key deviations with affiliates and supplier 
Prepare and send forecast data to supplier 
Drive resolution of out of stock situations 
Support tender bids
- Manage third party suppliers by 
Establish strong relationships, monitoring performance against the key performance indicators and regular Business Review and S&OP review for appropriate suppliers; includes PFR and OTIF monitoring 
Ensure active involvement in Supplier Relationship Management Teams:
cross-functional collaboration with QA, Purchasing, MS&T and business partnering with suppliers 
Establish a close partnership with Sandoz affiliates to understand
- Order processing 
Process purchase orders in SAP 
Monitor the entire order flow, from the receipt till the delivery of the released goods to the customer (coordination of QA-release) 
Check availability of the packaging material 
Communicate with affiliates and suppliers on all supply matters 
Prepare delivery documents and invoices 
Organize the shipments to affiliates; 
Clarification and execution of rush orders; 
Support repackaging activities 
Align with relevant interfaces like QA, Finance, Regulatory, … 
Manage toll manufacturing set ups (plan & control components availability)
- Check of local master data

Desired profile

BSC/MBA degree or any equivalent level

German and English

- 3 years or more of professional experience in purchasing, production planning or customer service,
- Basic knowledge of complex supply and logistics processes and ideally knowledge in supplier negotiations
