Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Supply Chain Manager role is to manage the supply chain for Pharma finished products including maintenance of high customer service levels, management of inventory, and management of related supply chain costs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and customer service levels.
• Operate effective distribution channel partners to ensure products reach the end-users in a compliant and effective manner.
• Ensure products (including Narcotics) are stored, handled and distributed according to Novartis and local GDP standards by following local and Global policies and by meeting local regulatory requirements.
• Manage narcotics: Follow the Danish law on this product type, follow internal procedures for this product type, do monthly and quarterly stock reconciliations and prepare and send the yearly Narcotic report to the DKMA.
• Manage supply chain related costs, ensuring best practices are followed and competitive rates and productivity are maintained. To plan and manage costs following Company guidelines.
• Manage inventories, ensuring best practices are followed and appropriate trade-offs are made in setting safety stock levels.
• Plan and manage inventories following Company guidelines.
• Develop and maintain processes in the CPO for effective supply chain management. This will include S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, collaborative planning, order fulfillment, launch / change processes.
• Ensure processes are appropriately documented, followed and periodically reviewed.
• Apply and align supply parameter policies within the CPO based on Company and local policies.
• Communicate supply chain performance, tactics, strategy, objectives, targets and initiatives effectively within the organization to ensure the motivation and alignment of supply chain management and other functions in the achievement of Company and functional objectives.
• Monitor and control trend, report and benchmark key performance measures.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key CPO management.
• Support CPO in the development of the business and protection of the Company´s assets and reputation.
• Share best practices across the Nordic Supply Chain teams and in local supply chain community.
• Adopt proven practices and technologies developed elsewhere in organization.
• Maintain active network within organization across functions and divisions
• Monitor competitor and distribution channel business activity in the countries; anticipate threats and opportunities

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Global Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Fluent English, Danish is preferred
• Deep knowledge and strong understanding of Supply Chain Management, W&D settings and Customer Service
• 2-4 years of experience at similar position
• Preferred SAP experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel
• Great Interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proactivity and great time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in matrix organization
