We have recently announced the creation of the Biologics Technical Development and Manufacturing (BTDM) unit to support our mission to be the world leader in technical development and manufacturing, making high quality novel biologics and biosimilars that transform patients' lives.

As part of this we may have potential opportunities in our BTDM External Supply Operations (ESO) unit for Supplier Operations Managers to join the Supplier Relationship Teams (SRT's).

The purpose of this role is to drive detailed planning, scheduling and order management to assure agreed delivery performance level to the commercial affiliates (CPOs) and to develop and manage the relationship with External Suppliers and to customers for all supply related matters, such as demand/supply planning and analysis and order management to guarantee high customers service levels including stock management for free of charge components.

Major Accountabilities:
- Responsible for order fulfillment tasks for a defined number of Products manufactured at External Suppliers
- Establish and oversee an optimal supply plan, with the goal to balance customer service level, production capabilities at External supplier, inventory level and operational cost according to budget
- Responsible for timely order fulfillment including organization and management of physical shipment of goods in collaboration with freight forwarders.
- Transport invoice verification
- Vendor performance management, measurement & KPI maintenance
- Maintain adequate planning & master data parameters (eg. MOQ, Lead Times, order frequency) setting for active assortment in close collaboration with local master data mgt.
- Responsible for the Novartis Pharma AG inventories according defined target values
- Toll Reconciliation (if applicable for the accounts managed) i.e Reconcilie Novartis Pharma AG inventories at vendor with system inventory, Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Follow-up on inventory differences
Communication to all stakeholders around supply
- Establish Supply Chain Processes with new suppliers in collaboration with Supply Process Manager
- Maintain and manage compliance of Trading Service Procedures (TSP) with Vendors

Desired profile

Education: Medium to high education in a Technical, Economics or Scientific degree (Fachhochschule) that contains supply chain management, logistics and/or planning including an APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain management.
Software: Use of MS Office tools (Work, Excel, Power Point, etc.) SAP different modules including Business Warehouse and APO Lotus Notes
Language: Good command of English written and spoken – German or another language (written and spoken) are of advantage
