Novartis is currently recruiting for Specialist - Global Mobility to join the HR Services team to support internal customers across Europe.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Specialist - Global Mobility role is to be responsible for all forms of international local hiremobility (as defined in the Mobility Continuum) to ensure a smooth process for all globally mobile Novartis associates. The role holder will be proactively managing the cycle for a designated population within Novartis, coordinating the move process and providing assistance to globally mobile associates and their families. Working with the Novartis approved vendors to facilitate moves.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively partners with GM ILH Partner and GMBP’s in order to work on all local mobility within the designated cross divisionally
• Serves as primary contact to the associate throughout the mobility cycle. Responsible for the end-to-end mobility process insofar as it relates to the mobile associate, including service delivery by external vendors, to ensure the highest level mobile associate experience
• Provides designated vendors with complete and accurate data to maintain systems, prepare packages, Cost Projections, Payment Orders, and Service Initiations (where applicable)
• Reviews packages, Cost Projections, etc. received from vendors
• Co-ordinating relocation efforts with vendor ensuring smooth work flow process
• Establishes strong working relationships with GM Business Partners and mobile population
• Acts with vendors to ensure the single point of contact concept works to facilitate all aspects of the move to include but not limited to cultural awareness, destination services, tax services, language training etc.
• Actively participates in Global Mobility related projects for continuous improvement of processes and Frameworks
• Provides support to HR Business Partners insofar as is required for issues specific to the globally mobile associates

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

• University degree or High School degree (KV, Eidg. Handelsschule, Matura, further education in HR (Personalfachfrau/ -mann or equivalent)
• Fluent in English, German desired
• 2 or more years experience in Human Resources or international assignment management
