Management of Global Security Operations Center on a regional and international level.
Responsible for the operations, systems, and personnel within the Regional Security Operations Center, Client Services and Switchboard. Ensures all processes, procedures, and policies are followed especially in the area of emergency management, medical, and criminal situations. Functional lead/consultant in badge production and access adminstration for Alcon/Novartis. Assists security partners at remote sites with badge and access adminstration.
Provide security support to NBS REFS security program Texas (Fort Worth/Houston)
Management/oversight of the Alcon FSR program for both Fort Worth and Houston. Ensuring the safe and effective adhearance of the Novartis Freight Security Requirements, documenting and assessing route cause analysis of discrepencies/violations of the FSR and report to both local and GS management of violations.
Primary responsibilities:
-Leadership & Stewardship - Interaction with site leadership and corporate counterparts. Broadly versed on issues that affect Alcon/Novartis divisionally as well as globally. Keeps site management abreast of current, new and developing security threats and risks. Develops and manages response actions. Interact and communicate with staffing and service vendors.
-Technical internal expert. Communicates changes/expectations to sites and divisions. Responsible for keeping up with technical advances and proposing service improvement where needed.
-Compliance - Assure compliance in respective areas of security and crisis management responsibility.
-Programs and Training - Ensures development of site programs and training
-Teamwork - Interfaces with site management in the implementation of site security procedures and standards.
-Documentation - Ensures systems are in place and maintained to properly document Alcon/Novartis' obligations.
-Performance - Ensures systems are in place to routinely track and communicate security performance. Responsible for determining Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the department, collecting KPI data, and ensuring resources are meeting established performance benchmarks.
-Communication & Visibility - Ensure security and crisis management information is routinely communicated as appropriate to site management.
-Vendor Management-Responsible for onboarding and exit of all security contract workers. Manage contract extensions. Grants access to systems needed in GSOC. Maintains approvals in HR Core system. Owns/maintains all security inboxes. Process Pro Unlimited and Manpower contract workers.
-Coordinates software/hardware updates for Cisco Unified Attendant Console. Maintains working relationship with Telecom team.
-Maintain strong relationship with on -site contract manager to ensure satisfactory performance from contracted resources.
-Serve as escalation point for GSOC, Switchboard and Client Service issues.

Desired profile
Preferred BA or BS in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Police Science, or related field or work experience.
Five years experience in Security Management and Asset Protection roles for multi-state, multi-facility organizations (pharmaceutical, chemical and/or manufacturing a plus). Two to three years of experience in security system administration. Two to three years of supply chain security C-TPAT security management.
