As part of the Surgical team, you will be responsible for driving Alcon Surgical advanced technology portfolio sales and market share at target customers.

Responsibilities include:
•Drive adoption and growth of Alcon advanced technology IOLs within the ophthalmic market
•Drive full and rapid adoption of lasers and diagnostics according to country priority and business opportunity
•Upgrade accounts to new technology console and consumables
•Effectively communicate and demonstrate to surgeons and staff the clinical benefits of new and mature technology in order to drive and facilitate the adoption of Alcon surgical equipment
•Collaborate with application specialists to provide clinical and training support
•Develop relationships with target customers
•Accurately maintain administration requirements including CRM database and reporting
•Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge
•Attend congresses, seminars, trade displays and other promotions as required
•Act in accordance with Novartis and Alcon Values and behaviours

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or Post Graduate Degree in Ophthalmology or Degree in Engineering with experience in Ophthalmic space or •Ophthalmic experience is essential •At least three (3) years of clinical applications experience, preferably in cataract and femtosecond laser refractive surgery
