We are looking for 5 Project Planners to support the TRD Project Team Representatives (PTRs) and Sub-Teams with the set-up and maintenance of cross functional technical project plans (work packages) in the new Project Management system (Horizon).

The successful candidates will ensure operational excellence by proficient, accurate & harmonized project planning across TRD globally and warrant compliance of resource planning & tracking in line with the defined IMB strategy/categorization. They will also provide downloads/reports of resources in respective system and any other information to customers in TRD sub teams and line functions (BPAs).

Major Accountabilities include:
- Experience with the Project Management System “Horizon” and/or other Portfolio Management relevant planning and tracking tools
- Overseing the cross-functional TRD Project Plans for the assigned projects in Horizon, Project Management System
- Managing timelines and resources (int/ext) for all TRD Line Function activities within a given cluster of projects in close collaboration with the TRD PTRs and the TRD sub team.
- Acting as extended member/participant of TRD sub-team to ensure up to date project plans, data accuracy and realistic forecasting in relevant Project Portfolio Management Systems (Horizon)
- Liaising with Project Managers to ensure timely update of TRD relevant work packages (WP), particularly prior to tollgate and other decision points
- Liaise with Line Function BPA & Controller for project cost tracking and phasing
- Reviewing, validating and challenging input, in collaboration with TRD Disease Areas (DA)/Franchise Heads (FH), as needed to ensure realistic planning
- Generating regular Horizon & financial tool reports for portfolio & project reviews (e.g. for TRD Management, Project Management Office - PMO, DA/FH etc....)
- Supporting development of processes, governance and best practices for data entry and maintenance in Horizon & other planning tools together with other resource planners & TRD PMO
- Ensuring data entry & reporting are done in compliance to above defined processes and best practices together with other resource planners & TRD PMO

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Education:
Technical or Business Administration Degree Bachelor of Science in Pharma or Life Science is an asset
Language:
Fluent English (oral and written). German desirable
Professional Experience:
1. At least 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry in technical development (potentially in other development functions, project management or finance as well)
2. Technical and/or business school education, Broad understanding and background of development and technical operations environments.
3. Adaptable and flexible. Must demonstrate ability and willingness to learn new systems and pro-cesses quickly and readily.
4. Willing and able to work hands-on with complex IT system
5. Great attention to accuracy and detail. Demonstrated technical and database skills
6. Strong customer focus; experience in working in service functions or providing customer support
7. Experience in working within a global team environment and be a supportive team player.
8. Very good communication and presentation skills – must be able to interact with a large number of stakeholders and people from different sectors and levels.
9. Solid organizational skills and ability to meet timelines.
