Job Description
The PLM System Engineer ensures the successful end-to-end operation of the Product Life Cycle (PLM) Windchill systems, the successful design, development, deployment and maintenance of software, applications and platform in the PLM function. The role supports the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a system or software release to ensure successful end-to-end deployment. PLM System Engineer provides analytical and technical support for incident and problem resolution as well as incident and problem prevention as required.
Accountabilities:
IT professional delivering technical expertise in support of the document management environment.
Executes defined system administration activities on an allocated/defined application, system or technology environment.
Design, configuration and/or customization of application / system builds.
Resolves incidents assigned by the Service Desk function, provides subject matter expertise during management of major incidents and problems.
Assists in project planning for IT deliverables (development, tests & validation).
Writes documentation specific to the allocated/defined application, system or technology environment (e.g. operations manuals, validation documentation, build documentation).
Ensure GxP compliance on regulated applications.
Complies with the IT Quality Manual and Information Governance.
Management Standards and Procedures.
Maintains technical and functional integrity of applications in scope of responsibility.

Minimum requirements
Minimum/Desired
Bachelors degree / diploma (e.g. in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Technology) and specialized knowledge
4 years of expertise relevant for document management systems Proficient English skills (oral and written)
Experience/ awareness of the workings of the business beyond own team and familiarity with the external environment as it affects own part of the organization
Experience with PLM applications (i.e. PTC Windchill) development and deployment
