Job Purpose

Under the guidance of the National Field Sales Manager the Pharmaceutical Sales Representation is responsible for obtaining the maximum sales in accordance with established sales targets for his/her territorial responsibility; as defined by individual objectives and performance standards set by the National Field Sales Manager.

The territory for this role is Kent, Hampshire, Sussex and M4 corridor and will be working with the Glaucoma and Dry Eye portfolio,

Key Responsibilities

• To promote appropriate products to all existing and potential customers
• To provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management ;
• To organise and co-ordinate local meetings on territory, also ensuring adequate catering facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio visual aids are available where necessary
• At all times to maintain and uphold an excellent company image, by way of personal presentation in both attitude, dress and condition of company car
• To work the hours necessary to achieve objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly and cycle basis

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have :

• Minimum A-Level/ Life Science Degree advantage
• Organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Ophthalmic experience preferred but not essential
