We are looking for professionals with ideal locations Hradec Králové, Jičín.

Job Purpose:

Accountable for implementing the commercial strategy for the Heart Failure (HF) and Diabetes (DM) product(s) for those key-targeted physicians within an assigned territory. Being a part of a high-performing area sales team. To drive (post EMA approval) utilization for assigned HF and DM products through targeted physician specialties. Completing appropriate sales, product, and marketplace education, designed to facilitate performance in the assigned sales role. After the initial training period responsible for developing the segmentation and targeting and establishing customer relationships with key targeted specialists and their staff, and within assigned community hospitals in his/her sales territory. Ensure a high level of cooperation with counterparts from Cardio sales team in assigned territories. Co-develop and implement sales tactics, use synergies to utilize community sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Builds and develops relationships with (but not limited to) INT, DIA, pharmacy staff, within assigned customers
• Effective communication of account strategy and business insights to customers and internal stakeholders using Novartis standard best practice sales techniques Novartis Customer Solution Model
• Leverages expertise and knowledge of therapeutic areas (HF, DIA), the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges
• Provides regular monthly feedback to marketing on Novartis mkt campaign and competition activities in assigned territory
• Participates in Novartis sales/marketing activities – local/international congresses etc.
• Operates within assigned budgets, adhering to all applicable policies (SF budget)
• Successfully leads and enhances the development and maintenance of assigned relationships with appropriate physicians, specialists in both – outpatient and hospital environments
• Prioritizes time and effort to ensure optimal and appropriate coverage of physician specialists and hospital accounts that will also support the activities of x-functional colleagues
• Effectively cooperates with cardio sales team counterparts by sharing insights, coordinating of sales activities
• Cooperates closely and shares insights with Disease Therapeutic Specialists, Hospital Account Managers, Market Access and Medical to generate pull-through within local payers and hospitals
• Timely and accurate reporting of sales activities in Novartis CRM systems (LINX, BI Tool) as per Novartis guidance
• Reports Adverse Events as per Novartis guidance
• Provides relevant, thoughtful regular input to sales leadership, marketing, market access and medical in regards to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region
• Works x-functionally to understand patient path, payer environment, co-pays, and formulary access
• Regular participation in brand team meetings
• Evaluates parameters for achieving territory goals. Anticipates potential barriers to achievement of goals and proposes solutions for success
• Maintains appropriate product promotion weight (HF/DM) as defined by sales & marketing strategy
• Acts ethically, adhering to all Novartis company ethics, V&B and compliance standards and policies
• Successfully completes assigned training and on-boarding activities
• Maintains high level of product & therapeutic area knowledge.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
• Pharmaceutical/medical/natural science background advantage
• Czech language is a must, English on communicative level is an advantage
• 3 years sales experience in pharmaceutical field
• Demonstrated high performer
• Proven history of success
