We’re currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of:

Pathology Clinical Service Associate(Tuesday-Saturday:8:00am to 5:00pm)

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, this position performs a variety of administrative support responsibilities in the coordination and review of final medical reporting. Work with our internal physicians and other to assist in the preparation of quality reporting to clients.

Perform quality review and inspection of test reports and releases to clients or sponsors and works in conjunction with internal laboratory departments and partner laboratories to ensure completeness and timeliness of all documents and reports sent to the patients doctor.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, including very good writing and proofreading capabilities including computer proficiency.

Requires a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transcribes relevant clinical information and history into Company Laboratory Information System (LIS) from provided medical charts and clinical documentation.

Maintains confidentiality at all times and with regard for HIPAA and patient privacy, including regular phone and email communications.

Develops and maintains a collaborative working relationship with all internal/external staff, and related contact as needed, including physicians, teammates and health care team members involved in the care of the patient of clinical trial.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a science field (preferably biology, biochemistry or molecular biology) and a minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting; or a minimum of two years related experience in a medical office or in clinical trial affairs; or equivalent combination related education and experience.

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of computers, including use of Microsoft Office programs with ability to enter data quickly and accurately in database programs.

Attention to detail, eye for quality and excellent organizational skills.

Must be able to work in a team as well as be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
