We are looking for a
Operational Excellence Manager (m-f)
- for Novartis Technical Operations -
(Project-No. 213764BR)
• Develop strategies and trainings to implement continuous improvements for quality and productivity, setting the pace of change to grow the business and make it more efficient
• Lead all continuous improvement initiatives within NTO at Holzkirchen (equipment availability, set-up-time, through-put-time, quality related topics)
• Develop continuous improvement plans addressing critical business needs
• Prepare, execute, and follow-up on workshops and build capability in the organization through project coaching and periodic delivery of trainings
• Share and adapt “best practices”
• Engage the organization to adapt or maintain a lean continuous improvement culture
• Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise
• Part of the Site Leadership Team
Desired profile
Minimum requirements
• Academic Degree in a technical or business discipline, science, medicine or Engineering
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement with a proven track record of deploying a range of tools/approaches to improve operational performance (Optimization of output, equipment availability, performance, Yield, 5S)
• Extensive knowledge with Capex Planning
• Effective change management capabilities and certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Works effectively with diverse, cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to adapt from top-management to ground staff level, track-record of working "with" and "through" colleagues at all levels
• Ability to influence key personnel across multiple business units and geographies, while influencing positive change through awareness, understanding, acceptance and engagement
• Fluent in German and good knowledge in English
