Job Purpose

• To facilitate the first dose monitoring of Gilenya patients in the hospital setting and to provide follow up as outlined in the Gilenya Support Programme
• To be responsible for patient education, support and injection technique training as outlined in the Cosentyx Support Programme
• Territory: Primarily cover Dublin to Galway, with flexibility to cover other territories country wide depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Gilenya and Cosentyx support programme guidelines – providing follow-up contact to patients as outlined
• Liaise with each account to ensure smooth running of both Gilenya and Cosentyx support programmes
• Attend and manage first dose monitoring for Gilenya according to the requirements specified in the Service Level Agreement for each centre and the RMP
• Visit the patient in their home to provide injection training and education on Cosentyx
• Ensure follow up with Gilenya and Cosentyx patients as appropriate including follow up medical checks and communicating results to relevant parties
• Maintain patient database in accordance with the data protection act
• Be fully compliant in reporting all Adverse Drug Events to drug safety
• Be capable of presenting on Gilenya/Cosentyx and Novartis Patient Services
• Attend patient information days and other meetings as requi
• Provide cover for all accounts when required
• Comply with I.P.H.A. Code of Practice and Novartis Code of Conduct
• Comply with An Bord Altranais Code of professional Conduct

• Registered General Nurse
• Experience in the relevant therapeutic area would be an advantage.
• Nurse adviser experience would be an advantage
