Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Medical Information Officer role is to Handle and respond to medical queries from external and internal customers in a scientifically high quality level and timely manner. Act as medical responsible for Established Medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, handle and respond to medical queries from external and internal customers by providing answers directly or by obtaining necessary information from appropriate data source or from relevant functions at CPO or headquarter level.
• Ensure that enquiries are processed and documented in relevant database within satisfying timeframes to support customer's interest and Novartis Pharma Businesses.
• Ensure that potential adverse event cases and customer complaints are transferred to DS&E or QA personnel for reporting.
• Develop and maintain training for new personnel on Medical Information Officer's role and how to use library and enquiry database.
• Proactively support commercial and medical affairs in insights gathering, literature searches, creation of standard responses and other tasks as needed.
• Medical responsible for Established Medicines with respect to review of information material, pruning processes and other reviews as needed.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

• A degree in medicine, pharmacy, health discipline or life sciences
• Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English
• 1-3 years pharmaceutical or clinical research experience.
• Familiar with pharmacological and medical terminology.
• Verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Customer oriented
