Job purpose
The purpose of a Medical Advisor is to provide medical knowledge to champion Novartis pipeline molecules, to ensure optimum delivery of UK study programmes and to support marketing activities associates with Novartis inline brands.

Key Responsibilities
• Stays abreast of the Therapeutic Area (TA) Pipeline and is the Product Champion for the pipeline molecules.
• Provides input into the Global clinical development plan (CDP), study designs, protocols to ensure UK needs are addressed.
• Provides the medical insights and approval for any Particular Patient Supply (PPS) programmes.
• Supports marketing to drive strategic positioning, differentiation and key marketing messages for Brand(s).

Desired profile

Requirements:
• Suitable candidates will be Medically Qualified or a GMC registered physician.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be preferred.
• Final Signatory status is essential or a candidate who has been a final signatory in the past (under APBI).
• Rheumatology Therapy Area Experience would be advantageous.
