Minimum requirements
The 6–month position will be located in the interdisciplinary team of the microbiology group within the Natural Products Unit.
The research project will be related to the production and improvement of enzymes of high interest through directed evolution and random mutagenesis. The enzymes could be for example P450s used in biocatalysis of natural products and will be produced in E. coli. This is a highly collaborative project requiring interactions with different departments in NIBR. Protein crystallization and modeling will be conducted together with colleagues from protein structure group and computational chemistry.
Education
Bachelor degree in a biology/biochemistry-related field
