Job description

Job Description

The intern will work in a cross-functional team, primarily with biostatisticians from the Clinical Pharmacology Biostatistics group, and also peers from adjacent science organizations.

The internship project will retrospectively investigate human PK processes, in one of several potential scenarios (e.g. pediatric formulation development based on in-vitro properties of the compound; analysis of PK-PD relationships in the presence of hysteresis or delayed onset response), with the aim of contributing to the development of guiding principles to be used for further developing a compound.

The intern would be required to use a variety of statistical modelling techniques (e.g. linear or non-linear mixed effects, time series, etc.) with appropriate software (SAS is preferred).

This position will provide the candidate with first-hand experience into different statistical approaches used in various areas of drug development, alongside learning about industry practices and principles.

Timeline / Duration: Flexible start time, for 6 months duration
