The Novartis Asia-Pacific, Middle East and African Countries (AMAC) Pharma region is searching for an enthusiastic, creative and energetic intern to support the Head of Communications & Patient Relations. AMAC is a highly diverse region with many culture and languages and represents Novartis to more than half of the world population. Responsible for communication & patient relations to the approximately 8,000 Novartis Pharma associates across 85 countries, the team has many strategic and diverse opportunities for an intern on their journey to develop and grow as a communications professional.
Evaluating the current AMAC SharePoint platform and proposing recommendations for the future. Investigating internal communications needs and wishes and proposing a plan and structure for the future. Managing the overall AMAC Pharma newsflow, working with brand teams, countries and other communicators to identify stories and prepare them for distribution, including copy-editing and in some cases drafting the content. Working with our colleagues in Global Pharma communications to manage the uploading of news and new content onto relevant sites and platforms. Manage existing content, working with team to update outdated information. Coordinate technology and content for monthly AMAC communications & patient relations network meetings with participants from more than 30 countries. Play a role in the delivery of AMAC events, including Leadership Meetings, Town Halls and Awards Program. Manage content creation of digital assets, including videos. Support the management and implementation of communications projects and materials as required.
Desired profile
- University student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, PR, journalism or marketing is preferred.
- Fluent in English
- Team-player
- International experience (exchange program or so)
- Social media savvy
- Writing experience
