Job Description

Obtain payers and health insurance companies Listing & Reimbursement to allow patient access to treatments. Ensure current and new indications are included in formulary listings in a timely manner. Utilize Health Economics & Market Access tools to promote value-based and evidence based Reimbursement.

•Develop and execute Health Insurance companies & Payer Strategies and Plans to accelerate favourable Listing & Reimbursement decisions for key market brands and new launches.
•Participate actively in all steps of Listing & Reimbursement planning, execution and negotiation.
•Understand, analyse and demonstrate the clinical, economic and social value of products to Payers, Health Insurance Companies decision makers and decision making process.
•Maximise the commercial opportunities and minimise access challenges and threats to Novartis business through developing, implementing and managing innovative Pricing & Access Programmes and Commercial Agreement with Health insurance companies and payers.
•Support Sales personnel in day-to-day emerging access challenges with health insurance companies.
•Capture insights and feed-back about the market and commercial threats and opportunities in order to shape business strategy formulation.
•Monitor the Regulatory & Policy environment changes and reforms of health insurance and financing, and support and coordinate with all involved.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Degree educated in relevant discipline or Life science degree Fluency in local country language English is mandatory
•3-5 years’ experience in Health insurance sector, Pharma experience is preferred
•Knowledge of Pharma industry and its changing environment
•Solid understanding of the Health sector, country regulations and reimbursement structure
