Job Purpose
Successfully facilitates remote tele customer interactions through building relationships with assigned targets while executing against sales goals for assigned territory. Drives terri-tory sales performance and market share. Establishes effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on business results across a range of therapeutic areas. Differentiates supported brands as leaders in therapeutic areas targeted.

Major Activities
•Drives achievement of sales targets for assigned territory/customers, or therapeutic area.
•Executes call plans for customers; calls on the right person to deliver the right message with the right frequency.
•Develops and applies understanding of customer organizations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships).
•Works effectively with sales and key business stakeholders across the organization to achieve sales targets.
•Brings forward actionable incites to drive continuous improvement efforts.
•Adapts and optimizes approach and communications style during sales calls, respond-ing appropriately to customer needs.
•Makes effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls.
•Ensure that products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers.
•Deploys and uses approved Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs.
•Uses expert knowledge of products to support sound clinical discussions.
•Uses detailed knowledge of competitor products’ features and benefits during sales calls to improve sales of products supported.
•Allocates resources effectively (i.e. sampling, marketing material, etc.)
•Provides Alcon stakeholders and other colleagues with insight and feedback gained from customer interactions.
•Works within Integrity and Compliance policies and all company policies
•Present a positive attitude and leadership skills to foster a high performing culture.
•Actively participate in all team meetings, conference calls, trainings, sales meetings.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

•Education – BA/ BS

•English
•Pharmaceutical sales experience (6 months - 1 year a plus)
•Understanding of industry benchmarks for business processes and controls against standards
•Ability to multi task and prioritize
•Strong leadership, organizational, planning and interpersonal communication skills are required
•Demonstrated ability to continually drive process improvements
