The Novel Oral Products Unit within Novartis Pharma Development / Technical R & D aims to develop and implement innovative pharmaceutical technologies (solid oral forms, small molecules NCEs) .
As Trainee (Grad Master Student) within this innovative environment you will contribute to elaborate pharmaceutical processing technologies and to develop pharmaceutical formulation know-how for novel technologies.

6-12 months traineeship

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Grad/Master Student resp. degree in science (e.g. Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering) with special interest in pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical processing:

- elective course in Pharmaceutical Technology or Pharmaceutical Engineering and physicochemics / material sciences (e.g. physicochemical powder characterization)
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in an international environment
- Organizational, scientific skills and strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English, German skills are advantageous
