Responsible for Global Transfer Pricing (TP) strategy, policy, cross-divisional implementation and global compliance with OECD and TP rules of major countries.
- Development, implementation and ongoing adaptation of the global TP Policy, incl. definition of governance framework & key processes, objectives, priorities and management of resources - Management and coordination of external providers and internal stakeholders from finance, business and legal who contribute to the TP objectives and their execution. - Ensure proper preparation of CbCR by internal stakeholders. - Member of the Tax Leadership Team who supports the colleagues responsible for divisional and regional tax matters with TP technical expertise in connection with business restructurings and TP audits. Member of the Group Strategic Funds Flow Committee - Ensure ongoing TP related tax support incl. M&A structuring and implementation in post-acquisition business integration - Define profitability targets in line with the applicable TP method and support the global target setting process including true-ups/down - Lead APA and MAP processes, define strategy and support Swiss CA and local tax team and external providers - Functional leader in TP matters of the global Novartis Tax Network
Key Performance Indicators:
- Contribution to group ETR through optimal and compliant TP policy, target setting, execution and risk management - Successful completion of significant TP audits, APAs and MAPs

Desired profile

Master degree in economics or law with additional qualifications in corporate tax law and TP English, German or other Swiss national language - Preferably successful career in big 4 firm in corporate tax and TP function (7 to 10 years) and in-house TP manage-ment role (3 years or more) - Experience of negotiation with tax authorities
