Job Description

•The role of Equipment/Maintenance/Engineering Tech is to work under close supervision to handle key process activities in the optic pin manufacture lab, support R&D staff, and communicate with both internal / external customers.
•Polish single point diamond turned optic pin with in-house process including automatic QED advanced technology, measure, and inspect IOL optic tooling with advanced analysis tools against design specifications in order to detect non-conformance parts. Thoroughly complete standard optic tooling processing forms with finished tooling parameters.
•Perform variety of duties in the R&D environment involving optic pin, wafer, lens manufacture, and lens manufacturing equipment.
•Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and advance instruments.
•Use established software and standard industrial machining codes to generate, verify, and debug computer numerical code on standard CNC machines including QED pin polishing technology.
•Use established templates to, and or prepare documentation and analytical work, generate DCOs, and enter quality data into quality management system.
•Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations and by maintaining clean work areas.
•Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements (PM); following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Minimum requirements

•High School Diploma / Associate Degree or Equivalent
•Excellent knowledge of English and proficient in Site local language
•Minimum of 0 - 1 year CNC experience.
•Ability to read and interpret CNC codes a plus
•Background in optics a plus
•Ability to qualitative analyze data a plus.
•Competent in Microsoft (Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
•Organize work / task a must Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and study sample parts for machining work.
