- Leads the co-operation and challenge of the Divisions in the annual 5-year-Plan elaboration
- Leads together with strategic planning colleagues the development of the Group Strategic Plan
- Leads and supports strategic business projects for Novartis Group, Divisions and the Executive Committee
- Provides strategic and planning expertise to Group Management, the Divisons and to individual BU's, such as identifying critical strategic issues, developing scenarios, assessing market opportunities and providing best practices
- Leads and supports benchmarking our performance in relation to industry
- Develops best practice know-how and industry contacts
- Reports to the Head of Group Strategic Planning Novartis International

Desired profile

University education (minimum master's degree), preferably MBA degree.
3-4 years of practical experience in areas of strategy, planning, project management, business development, marketing and/or finance and general management
3-4 years Consulting experience with major
Proficiency in English, language skills in Germany and/or French would be advantageous.
