Leads crossdivisional team in Czech Republic (Pharma, Alcon, Sandoz), With HoP CEE work to establish effective communications with key stakeholders groups and manage relationships across divisions. Responsible for the development and execution of projects based on the Category Strategies and business activities to feed into the Annual Sourcing Plan in close alignment with business partners. Activities include requirements gathering, market analysis, qualifying and selecting suppliers with the relevant Business Partners/stakeholders in accordance with the approved strategy. Increases efficiency, effectiveness and compliance across divisions through the simplification and harmonization of the Sourcing / Procurement processes.

• Responsible for providing country input to HoP CEE, responsible for collection internal stakeholder information
• Managing Strategic Buyer and operations team and ensure strong development of the team and high expertise
• Accountable for ensuring collaboration with NBS domains and all divisions
• Responsible for ensuring internal and external issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
• Support development of the cross-divisional annual country project plan that aligns with business requirements and category strategies.
• Is accountable for the overall delivery of the Country savings targets following the target setting process. Impact on the 3 Divisions by providing productivity, generate savings and implement innovative ideas.
• Carry out yearly re-occurring category action planning in coordination with internal customers, category managers and HoP CEE, which includes spend data quality, improvement, benefit potential estimation, feasibility evaluation
• Coordinate and contribute to key global/regional/cluster and cross divisional country initiatives, by identifying local business requirements and collaborating with internal/external partners
• Driving personally the most strategic development projects and sourcing cases.
• Responsible for managing monthly reviews, reports as well as audits, both internal and external.
• Is accountable for process and systems solution implementation in alignment with the Systems and Operations group to drive overall procurement efficiencies and improve compliance.
• Support development and implementation of the consistent procurement policy
• Simplify and standardize the way countries operates, focus the efforts on resource efficiency
• Demonstrates deep expertise related to the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of best practices, systems and processes.

Desired profile



• University degree or equivalent (within the area of finance, business administration or similar directions);
• English fluent (spoken and written);
• Active knowledge of Czech (at least intermediate level);
• Experienced in managing people;
• Minimum 3 years of experience of strategic sourcing within a matrix organization of an international company;
• Strong background in category management process;
• Experienced in managing complex projects;
• Good understanding of how to implement organizational transformation, which requires a “can do” attitude; has a mind-set to drive change;
• The ideal candidate can either be from pharmaceutical, chemicals or FMCG industry.
