Genoptix Medical Laboratory, a division of Novartis, is focused on developing and commercializing evidence-driven diagnostic tests to improve physicians' ability to optimize patient outcomes.

We're currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of:

Contract Data Analyst

Position Summary:
Responsible for general accounting functions of moderate to high complexity, with emphasis on revenue and Accounts receivable, data mining, reporting and analysis. Includes support for the Commercial Personalized Medicine business, specifically billing and collections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data mining and reporting from various systems for analysis and creation of reports that provide timely, accurate and actionable information to decision makers.

Import, clean, validate and model data from various Billing/Collection systems.
Generate reports and other visual aids on overdue accounts and payor trends.

Assist in generating work lists for each payor group based on several factors including collectability and profitability.

Desired profile

3-5 years' experience in data mining, preferably in a healthcare related field
Required Skill Sets & Knowledge:
Experience with data mining and report building via MS Office tools (PowerPivot/Access) and / or SQL
Must be detail-oriented and analytical
Able to multitask in a growing, dynamic environment
Possess excellent organization and communication skills
