The CNIBR R&D Apprentice Program recruits young talent with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences and offers scientific and professional training in Novartis Shanghai Campus.
The CNIBR R&D Apprentice Program is hosted by China Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (CNIBR), one of the top R&D centers of Novartis globally. Fresh Bachelor or Master graduates majoring in life sciences will be brought to the new state-of-the-art Novartis Shanghai Campus during the two-year program, where they will have the opportunity to work closely with Novartis leading scientists to gain essential lab skills and experience through practice, as well as to learn about Novartis cutting-edge knowledge and approaches in drug discovery.
Those who perform well during the program may apply for opening positions at CNIBR upon completion of the program.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidates are:
-Fresh Bachelor or Master graduates within 1 year post graduation
-Major in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology or related field with average GPA above 3.0 (4.0 scale) in major courses
-Working experience in research laboratory and hands-on experience in cytometry, florescence microscope, ELISA, protein array, luminex assay are highly desired but not required
-Passionate in developing career in biopharmaceutical industry
-Strong learning capability and willing to concentrate on lab research
-Good team player and sound communication skill in English
