Achieve Sales and market share targets across Alcon’s cataract equipment portfolio, i.e • Centurion • Phaco related accessories • Verion/ORA • Luxor Drive equipment penetration and upgrades in target customers : • Increase Alcon Phaco installed base through dedicated focus on gaining competitive accounts and upgrade Alcon accounts to latest Alcon technology • Convey Alcon's value (beyond equipment) through thorough demos • Proactively collaborate with CPM in identifying potential targets and new customers. • Participates in trade shows, conventions and trainings , educational events & activities with HCP’s ( incl evenings and incidentally also during WE ) • Interact with ophthalmologists, hospital buyers, head of O.R. and pharmacists to increase the use of our surgical products , to prepare offer, negotiate and follow-up offers and close commercial deals • Interact with financial liaisons to discuss financing models and schemes , partnering with Market Access , BPA and Tender, Pricing & Contract team Cross-functional support to • Advise and support other Alcon Sales Representatives in their work • Report to management on competitor activities, customer/market trends and potential for new products and services. • Initiate follow-up to product related complaints (Pharmacovigilance) • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, CAS , logistics and technical service CRM • At all times ensure customer segmentation & targeting information is of high quality and up to date • Sales time allocation as per defined Customer approach (Partner, Grow, Protect and Let go) • Timely, complete and effective reporting into CRM system • efficiently use analytical tools to continuously improve customer satisfaction and sales performance • Create and manage customer account plans Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing, medical, market access and technical service areas. Consistently act in accordance with Alcon SOPs and Values & Behaviors as well as medical device regulatory environment.
Desired profile
Minimum requirements
• Ideally a bachelor or master in healthcare field • local language + fluent English, written & spoken • Min. three (3) years sales force experience in medical devices, prefer-ably in cataract surgery
