Novartis is recruiting for a Captain, Aviation. This role will be located near the East Hanover, NJ campus.

The Captain, Aviation support the business by providing a safe, efficient and seamless executive aviation travel experience, while committing to safety, integrity and operational excellence through use of sound judgement discretion, and a professional attitude.
Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
1.Establish and maintain records as required by the authorities (FAA, EASA, Isle of Man, FOCA), aircraft manufacturer and the company.
2.Provide a superior level of customer service to the company and its executive customers.
3.Safe operation of the aeroplane and the safety of its occupants during flight time, proper servicing, maintenance of airworthiness while executing the flight with instructions and limitations of the applicable AFM and Operations Manuals.
4.Work together with pilots in Basel to ensure that aircraft are crewed in accordance with flight demand and ensure continuous alignment between Basel and Morristown with regards to operating standards, operating techniques, procedures and policies.
5.Assist with administrative duties of the Flight Department and when assigned to an additional role, perform this responsibility as outlined in the Organization Management Manual.
6.Be a “team player” and promote a “can do” culture within the regulatory constraints.
7.Promote a safety culture and collaborate with the Nominated Persons in Basel.

Develop and maintain aviation related networks pertaining to safety, training, and professionalism.
Perform additional roles and tasks as required to maintain an efficient Global Aviation Team.

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
Preferably Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in field.
Commercial Professional Pilot for over 15 years. Corporate Executive Pilot experience.
