Novartis is recruiting for a Associate Director, PM Marketing Ilaris role. This position will be located in East Hanover, New Jersey.

The will Associate Director, PM Marketing Ilaris be part of the US finance organization. The core responsibilities for this role include the following:

Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of brand Tactics,marketing mix and plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for the brand.

Lead the development and implementation of the tactical plan for the brand

Lead the development and execution of marketing activities related to brand including professional promotion, peer-to-peer, market access, etc.

Monitor the product performance, competitive environment and customer base to quickly identify plan changes

Manage ROI assessments of tactical programs, while collaborating with Sales Leadership,ensure proper execution throughout the field force

Lead interactions with extended brand team members including other functional areas (Sales, Managed Markets, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Training, Finance) and others, building consensus/buy-in among these team members

Lead the tactical preparation and launch of 3 new indications in 2016, including Launch meeting development and execution

Drive brand value and differentiation

Monitor and adjust ongoing project investments

Identify cost savings and develop business case to improve brand value

Ensure appropriate tactical mix – balancing return on investment and impact to brand.

Provide direction to multiple agencies to drive execution of tactics

Ensure compliance with Novartis policies and procedures and full integration into the Novartis culture and support resources

Desired profile

Position will be filled commensurate with experience.

Education: Business and/or biological science education with concentration in marketing are preferred (MBA a plus).

Proven track record of in-line brand performance and managing product marketing functions

Demonstrated success leading across functional teams

Strong written and oral communications to shape and articulate a clear strategy/story

Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of complex market and financial data

Marketing, managed markets, sales and/or international experience

>1 year experience with biologics and/or rare disease products

Experience with market access and patient service organizations
Deep therapeutic knowledge

Experience shaping and implementing unique distribution and patient service models

Preferred operational marketing experience with focus on product/brand management including customer facing/sales experience

Excellent business/commercial acumen

Proven ability to understand, track, analyze and leverage customer and marketplace insights into building effective marketing initiatives

Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner

Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within the market

Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills

Leadership Style:
