Lifestyle & Wellness Start Up - Business Intern (Paid)

Job description

Looking for someone who gets excited by the idea of a lifestyle and wellness brand start-up. Must be a lateral thinker, have an edge, but is honest and hard working. Needs to have good EQ and comfortable interacting with a range of personalities. Must be well presented, quick thinking and does not mind getting their hands dirty when needed. We are looking for someone who aims high, dreams big and wants to own their own company in the long run (likes to graft).

There are two parts to this role, paid and unpaid;

Job Description (paid ~10hrs to 20hrs week)

· Meet and greet (look after clients, collect data, check bookings, etc)

· Update database, general admin

· Answer the phone to sort appointments, answer questions, etc

· Help set up and breakdown of events

Work Experience Given (unpaid ~10 to 20hrs week)

· To help find lifestyle/wellness brands to suit Not Just Yogas events

· To help with partnerships of fashion and wellness brands that Not Just Yoga decide to work with

· Research into brands and affiliate programmes for Not Just Yoga's Instagram/Blog

· Communicate with brands and press that Not Just Yoga are working with

· Help obtain sponsorships, partnerships for events, etc at Not Just Yoga

· Help brainstorm, organise catwalk events, wellness & lifestyle events, etc

· General assistance to owner of Not Just Yoga

· Help - Take Instagram photos

· Help - Up load blog posts, social media, stream events live on social media, etc

Desired profile

Skills Required

· Have experience in Photoshop, Indesign, etc

· Organised

· Wellness as a passion is a MUST! Would help if you practise yoga regularly.

· Have a creative mind and eye for BUSINESS (first and foremost) fashion, lifestyle & wellness (photos as well as blog content and campaigns)

· Have prior experience in meet and great or reception role

· Must be well presented and suitable for a luxury lifestyle and wellness brand

· Must be well spoken

· Needs to have experience in organising events

· Needs to be organised, driven and work well under tight deadlines

· Is interested in wellness and well as fashion/lifestyle

· Needs to be able to work efficiently on their own as well as in a team
