Job Purpose
To deliver service transformation and performance improvement within our local government client base by working alongside our customers as their trusted partners.
Work Responsibilities
As a key member of our Transformational Services personnel on site, you will:
- Help deliver diagnostic assessments (preparing reports/presentations) of our clients’ services, including identifying the areas for improvement and potential benefits.
- Help develop and implement the systems, tools and plans required to introduce performance and productivity frameworks on client sites. Ongoing monitoring and management of performance and productivity frameworks to ensure the availability of accurate performance and productivity information.
- Working alongside colleagues and client team member alike to implement step improvements in service and quality. Carrying out all necessary responsibilities for the successful delivery of our Service, Financial and Organisational Improvement Plans.
- Supporting our Account Development by identifying opportunities to grow our business on site.
Work Context
Contractually Graduate Service Managers are based from home, yet will often work full time at a nominated client site/s. This site location may change frequently, depending on business needs, sometimes at very short notice. Where possible the site will be within a nominated region and within daily travelling distance of the Service Manager’s home address. Please note however, working away from home is often likely.
Graduate Service Managers have day to day management responsibility for successful delivery of contract outcomes. In exceptional cases, Service Managers can be the only Northgate representative on a client’s site and as such they are expected at all times to conduct themselves in a professional manner in line with our reputation as transformation experts.

Qualifications
- We are looking for smart Graduates with excellent communication skills and good business acumen.
- Ideally we are looking for a graduate with a 2:1 or above and a strong academic background.
- Someone with good financial skills will also find it beneficial although this is not essential.
