Scope of the Role:

To provide security services and ensure a safe and friendly environment for all Clients, customers and staff.

Key Points:

• Full time shift based opportunity (including weekends)
• SIA Security or Door Supervisors licence
• CCTV licence

Role and Responsibilities:

• To provide a professional service and ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Dealing with conflict and diffusing situations
• Dealing with emergencies and liaising with the Police if necessary
• Restraining / Escorting individuals from areas (if applicable)
• Continual monitoring of the internal and external areas of site
• Patrol as instructed and serve as a general security presence and as a visible deterrent
• Detect and report suspicious activities
• Report all incidents, accidents and emergencies
• To be fully aware of all emergency and evacuation procedures
• To administer Basic First Aid
• Other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time

Skills/Experience:

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
• Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours in length
• Must have a professional manner to deal with difficult, sometimes stressful and physically challenging situations.
