The Role: The Key Account Technical Sales professional will manage and expand relationships with our major clients, aligning their needs with our cutting-edge technical solutions. This pivotal role supports both the retention of our existing client base and the strategic development of new markets.
Responsibilities:
* Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key accounts to establish enduring partnerships.
* Drive business growth within key accounts, aligning with our core values in a multicultural context.
* Formulate and execute strategic sales plans specific to the chemical and anti-corrosion coating industry.
* Collaborate with R&D and market research teams to integrate industry insights for account expansion.
* Adhere to legal standards and regulations in chemical handling.
* Work closely with technical teams to integrate technical expertise into comprehensive account management.
* Encourage a culture of autonomy, actively improving team dynamics, and supporting collective efforts across European operations.
Desired profile
Required Qualifications:
* Demonstrated success in key account management, ideally within the chemical or metal coating industries.
* Technical background, preferably with an engineering degree or relevant experience.
* Strong ability to develop and maintain solid client relationships, focusing on strategic partnerships.
* Autonomous working capability with a knack for enhancing team collaboration to improve business processes and client experiences.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
* Experience with managing major accounts is highly valued.
