An exciting opportunity available to join a growing company in Northampton as a Dog Handler and Office Administrator. Working as part of an office team carrying out administrative tasks as well as collecting stray dogs in a range of areas on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a confident, proactive individual with the ability to handle an extremely varied role. This position is perfect for someone looking to link their love of dogs and animal welfare with their strong office skills.
Responsibilities
- Dog restraint officer/driver for stray dog collection
- Carry out ad hoc support functions
- Opportunity to get involved with the re-homing process of stray dogs.
- Dealing with queries via email and telephone
- Filing/ General Office Duties
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in dog handling would be an advantage
- Full clean driving license
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise your own workload and remain calm under pressure
- All employees are DBS checked, which will be paid for by employer
