Marie Curie's Lottery & Fundraising team is expanding in Newcastle! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with face to face fundraising, door to door or sales experience to try something fresh and new - Lottery Fundraising! Our Lottery fundraisers work in residential areas on behalf of Marie Curie by recruiting weekly lottery players as well as aking for reguar support. There is potential progression with these roles and there will also be opportunities to work in Private Sites and Corporate locations.

Marie Curie provide nurses, health professionals, hospice facilities and emotional support to those people with terminal illness. An amazing 96% of the UK’s population is covered by Marie Curie Nurses showing just what an impact people’s support has so far achieved. Working as a Fundraiser, you will be chatting to members of the public and inspiring them to support the cause.

If you are passionate, believe in a good cause and are an excellent communicator, then this could be the role for you.

You will be required to travel to various busy locations across your city in small groups, so you will be working alongside likeminded people. Candidates need to be committed to the cause, mature and have an underlying passion for the charity.

The hours are between Monday - Friday 2pm - 8pm.

You will be paid £8 - £11 an hour depending upon experience.
